When is his contract up.
He must have proven himself to PD by now.
Lets get players like him tied to longer deals.
It is no coincident that we have started to win again when he returns to the team.

I don't think I've ever changed my mind about a footballer as much as Paul Keegan....When he arrived I admit to thinking he was just a clogger out of a very poor Irish league and couldn't see what he offered us at all...Then he had the run of injury nightmares and I was even more keen to get rid..Free transfer anything to stop him draining the wage bill...Roll on a year or so later and for me he's as important a player as we have..He's been brilliant when he's stayed fit and just as important it allows Wellens to play his natural game too...One of the first names on the team sheet...

I always liked him but now I think much more of him.
Like you say he would be one of the first names on the team sheet from me.

Always rated him. Missed big time when he's not there.

Fair play to Rovers for sticking with him through three managers. He obviously has something special.

I'm in the same camp as you guys. I wasn't that impressed previously but over the last 12 months or so I'm struggling to think of a player who has improved more than him. I'd also add Husband into the hat in terms of players who we've really missed due to injury though.

Future England ?

Any other generation I think he would but left back is starting to look our strongest position Cole, Baines, Shaw and Bertrand

Why not right back then? He could stick his left foot up his arse and still be better than Johnson and Walker.

If James Husband played at a bigger team he'd be getting raved about like Bertrand and Shaw. He'll play for England one day i'm sure.
