I think that could distract Copps too much (perhaps I'm being unfair), I would give it to Keegan assuming he's fit.

Give it to Husband same way Southampton gave it Lallana and hopefully it will motivate him to push on further

When Wellens went off in the Wigan game the captaincy got given to Furman, who was also Dickov's captain at Oldham. I suspect this will be what happens whilst Wellens is suspended.

I think PD is trying to give Furman a kick up the ass rather than lead him to believe he sees him as  a leader at this stage. Gab Tamas for me!

Meite for me.  He's leading our back line in the same way Jones did last season.

I'd give it to Browny myself, he leads the line superbly and I just see him flourishing as leader of the whole team as well. Can't think of anyone who deserves it more.

Billy? Experienced, respected and played (occasionally) in prem. I personally think a captain should not be up front, he needs to see what's going on in front of him and organise, which I think is a bit more difficult for a striker. I might have said Turnbull if he was playing, but since he's not I think I'd probably go for Meite?

I wouldn't give it to a new loan player unless as a sweetener to stay next season so that leaves Khumalo or Brown for me,  I always prefer a centre half as my captain though.

Khumalo is a loan player, Miete is a contracted player and is looking at earning himself a longer contract, his marshalling of the defence is excellent, I think he has all the attributes to be captain

Hubby would be my pick. Wasn't Snodin made captain really young?

Husband is a very good player for his age but people saying for him to be made captain while Wellens is suspended is ridiculous.
