Hate to think just how much we are paying him in wages. perhaps a move for ishmail miller would have been a lot better?
Quote from: Retdon1 on February 08, 2014, 05:52:07 pmGot to bring someone in on loan for a month Matt derbyshire was linked before we got sharp and he hasn't gone anywhere yet so maybe get him. The people saying about piterson getting his chance I am sorry but this lad is not a league 2 player never mind a championship footballer he just looks totally lost every time he plays I am all for giving youth a chance but not this lad. How many times have you seen Peterson play?

Why does everyone lose all perspective after a loss?Never expected to get a result today but luckily results around us went our way. The defense has vastly improved over the last 5 games and it sounded like we limited Brighton to few chances. With Sharp out I imagine we'll revert back to a 5 man midfield which might be a good thing in any case because Browny can hold the ball up and score in that role.I'm confident about Barnsley and Yeovil and because we're in a better position - we have the advantage of draws being good results.
You have completely missed the point of this thread. And to imply that it's all Hunky Dory without Sharp for the next 3 games is ridiculous. We signed him because we were nothing less than bereft in the striker department. So his unavailability puts us back where we were.A bad day to say the least.

Do you honestly think calling Sharp a prick is defensible and not an overreaction? What are you going on about?Who called Sharp a prick? How did I defend that? How have I over-reacted?Take a breath and put your brain in gear before you post next time sunshine.

The opening poster called sharp a "f***ing Idiot". You said I had "missed the point of the thread".Very simple set of facts, "sunshine".
I've just seen the Billy sending off incident, for me it's a man's game and it should have been treated like that,it's a yellow card for me,i know he lashed out,but he didn't do any damage, but totally unprofessional giving ''The Ref straight out of nursery'' a chance to send him off, everybody makes mistakes and hopefully he learns from it,now it's up to the lads who are eligible for the Barnsley and Yeovil games to get us the results, which they are more than capable of,even with Billy fit,we are short of goalscoring options though,we could do with an addition in that department.
When clubs appeal against red cards aren't suspensions put on hold until the appeal has been looked into?May be worth appealing, even if it just means we have him for the huge game next week? Just a thought!
