Could someone please explain why our manager sees fit to go on record stating that he is looking to bring in someone on loan, with a wry smile on his faxce and then, yet again nothing develops.

Simple. He's a naughty little tinker who likes winding up people who want, want, want.

It was the way he said there was not a clawback clause in Paynter's loan and then saying he was very close to signing a loan striker in time for Saturday.

If Forrester is fit he may do as a fill in striker, but why build up the hopes for a game where we NEED to score at least once to get full points.

Actually Yes, if you look at where our goals have come from this season. The midfield has been very short on goals.

Well sharp isn't a midfielder so that doesn't make a differance if sharp plays or not

Don't we have until noon tomorrow if we want to bring in a loan player?

Yes, or as PD said in a Doncaster star interview, we could go back to the formation, pre-Billy, that beat Wigan 3-0! Think the performance & team that beat Wigan so easily would well & truly stuff the dingles? Wouldn't it???..

Looks like were going with what we've got for today. Wonder what happened Dickov seemed hopeful on Thursday
