I've got a google home mini and I've been given a load of Hive active bulbs or whatever they're called but I'm told the Hive hub is shite and you can only connect their own products to their hub, which isn't true of other hubs. Obviously I could trawl the internet for reviews but I'm interested first to see if anyone has any experiences of these types of thing? will be looking at down the line picking up plugs and a couple of other little bits that will run through the hub and preferably also compatible with google home assistant.

I'm leaning towards the Samsung version but wouldn't mind some input if anyone can help.
