I'd expect McCullough to go with Deeney's run.

I'd expect that as well, He's got full sight of Deeney

But we play a zonal defence. McCullough would have expected there to be someone on his left to pick up a run down the channel.

In any case, McCullough was static. Deeney was moving. McCullough would have had to turn, track across and get up to speed to cut out Deeney. Whereas the position the Husband ended up in was exactly where a run from Deeney and ball from Forestieri would have gone.

William, what on earth are you talking about?

Zonal marking - which you have decided we play - doesn't mean player's operating in silos, particularly in open play. You also don't tend to play zonal marking when you're a patched up defence. It requires an understanding to have built up.

And this Mcullough stuff. He's looking straight at Deeney. He's in a decent positon if Deeney is the pass. What he's not in a decent position for us someone running in on his blind side at pace.

Defend Husband when it's there to be defended. Here it really is not.

Husband is at fault here but then again someone generally had to be.
At the end of the day we pocketed the 3 points and I hope that Hubby learns from this .

Understandable. Duffy and Brown look so similar...

It's so lazy.

I don't have a problem with genuine mistakes, but when you can see the player on the ball clearly has number 7 on his back, to not even bother checking who it is (which would take 10 seconds on Wikipedia or something) and to just assume it's Coppinger rather than Duffy is infuriatingly lazy.

It's not just a problem for Rovers though. I don't buy into this 'the media have something against DRFC' conspiracy. It's just a general lack of rigour in reporting the correct thing.

I wouldn't have so much of a problem if it was a commentator covering the game live getting muddled up with the names whilst the game is going on, but this is a voiceover done long after the game. I don't believe they don't have a couple of minutes just to check that what they're about to say is correct.

I don't think TLO Sky have any genuine interest in any matches, or players, outside of the Premier League, unless they are managed by Harry Redknap.

Or involve Leeds or Leicester.
