I was looking forward to seeing us play them next season, and no Rovers fan wants them to above us, but they had a great season and deserve the reward. Congrats Rotherham!

Well done and congratulations to Rotherham. Now over to you Mr Dickov, CEO and the board lets not talk promotion just do it. No excuses, keep the players with the right contracts we don't want to here about lack of money. Mr Dickov if we are not in the top two after 10 games then you should be sacked.

Why would it matter if we were top 2 after 10 games? you don't need to do that to go up. There's some good teams in that league, better than last time.

Are Rotherham better than us, we should be a very good team in this league if we have and get the right players and the right tactics. So do not want excuses they went in the last seven games, that's over now talking promotion is easy the for board CEO and the manager of their choice must show we are a promotion side from day one.

But you don't need to be in the top 2 after 10 games to get promoted...

Yes maybe I have set the bar to high for you and some supporters. Let's say this then in 2012 / 2013 when we started with a scratch side and another tactical inept manager we were in the top two after 20 games. So let see if Mr Dickov can manage that with players that should be better. Is that enough babbling  for you Billy.

I'll be more concerned with the position we are in after 46 games, not 10, 20 or anything else in between.

If we are competitive as we can be, in each game, or as we should be, then by default we should be competing towards the top end of the table.  Depending on how tight the table is, we could be in 9th or 10th by christmas yet still only 6 or 7 points off the top two.  Competing, playing well, scoring goals and loooking like we can win a game at any time, hopefully being entertaining, will do for me.  Logic follows that that should position us well after 46 games.

Well done Rotherham.  I would have rather we were in the same league for the rivalry, but they won their promotion fair and square so good luck to them.

I must say I thought neither team played particularly good football, but that second goal from the Millers was a very well taken opportunistic strike, the sort that deserves to win finals.
