Just noticed a huge Doncaster Rovers flag overlooking the far corner flag, where England are attacking first half, anyone know whos out there?

Belongs to Andy liney, well it did when we were on the conference, division 3 and so on, seen a few times at away games and when we first moved in to the keepmoat he hung it up in the west stand near the away end.

Er... 1 in 3 goal return, not bad for a midfielder

A sign of things to come I'm afraid - if we can't defend against TLO Ecuador then we'll be badly lacking against some of the better teams! Oh dear! Cracking header though, even if the cross should never have been allowed to happen - 2 men both backing off - seen that somewhere before!

Would have to agree on Smalling...its a sad reflection on the talent we have available if he's classed as international class...

Don't forget this is nowhere near the first choice starting 11 - Hodgson wants to have a look at as many players as he can before the competition starts.

I never put too much weight on practice match performances and results..

If anyone can remember the old FIFA football games round 2003/2004ish that rovers flag used to be on the game whenever you chose to be rovers. Certainly gets round haha

I feel sorry for Luke shaw. Playing for England in a defence with smalling, jones and Milner is going to make him look bad

Ben Foster is dodgy as f**k at this level.

One of my mates who goes Rovers is out there tonight, has his colours on as well. Mind, not easily spotted amongst white shirts with what looks to be red seating.

Yes, take your point IDM, still can't fancy England to get through the group stage though - hope I'm wrong cos I've got a houseful, 144 bottles of various real ales and a freezer full of steaks & burgers for Italy and Uruguay games and at work meeting (in a hotel with giant screen) for Costa Rica game. I just can't see us getting very far but I certainly aim to enjoy the tournament!

I'm afraid we have some very average players. If we get through to the 2nd round it will be an acheivement

Great goal. All we have to do now is get Wilshere to realise we are playing in red.

Love watching Barkley & Chamberlain run with the ball at pace! Got Sterling & Lallana to add in there too

Not because of the goal but so far this game how shite is Ben foster? Can't believe he's even been selected for the 23.

If we wanted to experiment without Hart then Forster should have played and Ruddy should have been No 3 not Foster IMO.

Bit unfair I think - 2 great goals that he had no chance of getting to and no help from the defenders constantly backing off! Don't think he'll be threatening joe hart anytime soon though - unless he has a skinful!

Lampard and Wilshere.................England's equivalent to Furman and Keegan. (With apologies to Furman and Keegan)

IMO Roy has to find a place in the XI for Barkley...for me it would be at the expense of Welbeck
