Well, that's my take on it. I know .......talk is cheap......but at least he has positivity.

The pulling power doesn't seem to have started yet ...... Unless I've missed something.

Ah, but do you know who these players are that would "Consider" a drop to L1. He is after all only talking to players and agents.

Accepted.

I know where you're coming from, though. It wasn't just the manager's fault but he has to take the responsibility (which, to date, I don't think he ever has)

Dickov said: “Our budget will be up there with the top five or six teams in the league.

JR said only Sheffield United would be higher ! going backwards John ! already .

I know he has to say something to the media, but it sounds like a broken record. I'd much rather hear that we've actually signed someone.

And if the story is true (and I'm not convinced it is) that we can't sign any contracts until the deal is formally completed, then perhaps the club could tell us this so we can stop wondering when we'll sign someone.

I have to say that, even as a JR fan, it's all starting to get a little bit worrying.
Maybe we have nothing to worry about, we'll find out soon enough won't we?
Until we know differently, we can only assume Dickov knows something we don't and everything in the garden is rosy :-) (and hence his statement in the Free Press)

Hi Frosty. Long time no hear. Are you well?

We all know transfer activity at this time of year is normally measured by the rumour mills only. Very little of substance normally happens. Things will pick up pace once the players report back for training and we get closer to the start of the season. Options start running out for players and agents.

There's hardly anything in the Rumour Mill though. Either we're operating well under the radar or there isn't a lot happening.

I meant rumour mills in general, not ours.

Maybe that's cos those that were in the know are no longer in the know!
