They Think It's All Over. I don't know how I have survived these past 15-odd years without a weekly dose of "Will Carling!? Princess Di?! Say no more" repartee and a million ways of making fun of David Gower's posh upbringing. They don't make em like that any more.

It combined cultural references, with what Eric Morecambe noted as one of the two sufficient conditions for humour - logic gone awry to comic effect.
