QPR's Parachute payment redistribution
« on July 22, 2014, 09:43:52 pm by graingrover »
Does QPR's parachute payment get redistributed amongst last season's Championship clubs or this season's? In other words will we get anything from the redistribution pot?

I think they changed the rules and the payment goes to charity. It keeps the smaller well run clubs from competing.

I think you're confusing that money with the fines imposed for not meeting FFP. Those fines go to charity.

I'm confused, I thought that if any team disadvantaged the rest of the division's teams by breaking the FFP rules ; then the other teams were originally to be compensated by these fines ?

Originally yes, but it was changed.
