Dons got stuffed 10-30 by Batley.I think Batley needed to win to stop up.They were alot keener than the Dons.

First time I have been for a long time. If they are third then there must be an awful lot of rubbish as the Dons were absolute garbage.

Doncaster RLFC @Doncaster_RLFC  ยท  2h
Halifax won so the Dons finish 4th in the @RLChampionships and will face @LeighCenturions away in the play-offs. #rugbyleague #ilovedn

Batley wanted it alot more than the Dons today I am afraid. Credit to Batley where its due their desire and all round better perfomance won the day.

Dons handling was atrocious today and they didn't seem to have any motivation at all.

The format of the play-offs is bloody confusing!

Quote
The Championship title will be determined by the winners of a top-eight play-offs series, which next weekend also sees Featherstone Rovers host Halifax in a qualifying play-off.

The winners of Leigh v Doncaster and Featherstone v Halifax will have a bye in Week 2 of the play-offs, when the losers will be at home to the winners of the two elimination play-offs featuring the teams that finished fifth to eight.

Those ties see Sheffield Eagles host Batley Bulldogs, who confirmed their place in the play-offs with a stirring win at Doncaster, whilst Dewsbury Rams are at home to Workington Town.  The two losing team from these two matches will be eliminated.
