Anyone fancy being the new drummer?

The VSC spoke to the club this week about the drum "situation" and the club are happy for someone to become the new drummer, but they would only like one person to take ownership of the drum and only that person to use and look after it for the entire game, preferably someone who has drummed before and won't see it as a novelty.

If anyone would like to do this, contact the club and ask for Sean Lockwood or email shaun.lockwood@doncasterroversfc.co.uk. If you get in touch with him today we can have the drum back for tomorrows match!

Just to re-iterate - only one person will be allowed to use the drum and be allowed into the gantry during the match. They will also be responsible for picking it up before and dropping it off after the match.

The club doesn't need a drummer. People went to football matches for decades and produced enough vocal support without one. It's just a contrived way of making people feel part of something without them making any effort whatsoever.

It was posted on the doncaster rovers fc facebook group before it was on here. (Not a single reply of interest yet, even though it was people on there moaning the drum was taken away from them)
I can put it out on twitter though, no problem.
