De Val

Dickov needs to pick this lad today, Keegan, De Val, Wellens, Copps and Bennett midfield today with Tyson upfront. With Keegan and De Val in there Copps, Bennett and Wellens will be able to get up there and support Tyson.

For me, De Val in for Keegan. Furman in for Robinson (or my old granny who's been dead for 55 years) play Tyson up front on his own with Furman behind him.

Or, if PD insists on playing the same formation with basically the same personnel (ie Keegan holding) bring in Peterson for Robinson and give the lad a chance for an hour. I'm not saying he's any better than Robinson, but leave him clicking his heels on the bench for an hour and he may put a bit of effort in if/when he comes on. That may a bit drastic for Dickov though as I think he will be scared of losing today, and losing his job

If I was Dickov I'd play myself up front until Forrester and Main are back. He simply CAN'T be any worse than than Robinson has been.

De Val was excellent today, one of his passes was sublime with the outside of his foot

Well done to PD for changing the system to 4 1 4 1 and playing DeVal in the quarterback role he was very good until he got tired. But we need to persevere with him there.

Also thought Furman was excellent. Iv given him some stick but today he deserves the praise.

Credit to Dickov today. He got it spot on including the substitution.
