Ah, well... fingers crossed we pull together and get them worried. Could be Fulham bless us and settle in a pipe and comfy slipper zone....

Inexperience in defense is costing us.

Well how wrong was I. Maybe playing Wabs and Mcullough instead of McCombe has cost us. Shame on me.

Well, as Martinez says, 2-0 is a funny scoreline !! They might ease off.
Sneak one back and who knows.

The defence continues to be a concern we need  to concentrate in getting it right for the league. If players are required it must be done.

I'd bring de Val and Forrester on at the break.

I honestly can't understand how Dickov can't see we need to sort the defence out, it's worst than school boy level

I do not understand why De Val was left out.

Subs sooner rather than later unless Dickov really thinks we're getting something very useful from this experience wise. Who's been our worst defender tonight? McCombe on for Wakefield/McCullough/Evina? De Val on for Wellens/Keegs? Forrester for Wellens/Keegs??

I think PD will change it and may be take Keegan off with Forrester on with perhaps Furman dropping. They sound like their playing a high line so could be chances to get Forrester running beyond Tyson.

We need to sign a proper centre half we are crying out for one we can't rely on McCombe and Jones when both of them can't walk to shop without getting an injury and a leader at the back is going to develop the younger lads more. With the defence as young as it is tonight against a proven attack I can't see how we will stop them scoring a couple more in second half, he needs to bring McCombe on if he's fit just for some kind of leadership an experience at the back.

I'd get George Elokobi in from Oldham.  Loan deal made permanent in the transfer window.  He's a beast and Oldham can not be paying him a fortune.

I'm just surprised that Wellens is NOT leading/directing/encouraging our youngsters ; he should be doing this when the Corporal isn't around.
Why is he here this season, he is not acting like the seasoned pro ?. Put the foot on the ball and lead by example Richie ffs.

This game has gone now bring on De Val and Forrester on and just have a go.

He will be but you need a leader and the heart of the defence who can organise the younger lads and keep the shape at the back. Wellens can't do that when he's not sat in there looking across the line etc.

Would take any of them exactly the kind of players we need.

Both free agents and both very good shouts, certainly better than what we have

Prove me wrong Paul, but I can't see the creativity now to release Robinson and Forrester, unless we just plan on launching it forward quickly.

I think the idea is through balls, that's Dickovs ideal style. Could work if we can get it forward to say Copps quickly. There is a point we need De Val on. Oooooh! Nathan!
