Wellens - Spent his career in League One and Championship. Was our best player last season in the league above.
Bennett, Furman, Keegan, Jones, McCombe - All part of the squad which won the title 2 year ago. A title winning team doesn't turn into relegation fodder after a couple of years.
Coppinger - As above. Also got us promoted twice from this league and one of our best players.
Robinson - Hasn't done too well for us this season but averages 1 in 3 at this level at other clubs.
Forrester - Supposedly one of the best players in the league

Bennett has done well in a couple of games this year yes but for me way to inconsitant and no final ball, jones has been immense but far to injury prone now, mcombe good in the air but every time he has ball at his feet it's launched, wellens yes and forrester and copps, keegan decent enough, the rest for me would not get in many of the teams in this leauge

The ones who you think wouldn't get in other teams, who signed these players?

I agree he has signed them,if it's right that we have 1 of the best budgets I either think we are paying far 2 much for average players or he has made some poor signings,if it's not the case then to be honest there is not much he can do

Were 6 points off playoffs with a game in hand. I don't think that's bad.
Just think there's a big overreaction to every defeat, and people are sat there waiting for a defeat so they can get on his back.
When we win they're nowhere to be seen

The reason being, it doesn't happen very often. It never happens consecutively....you've kind of answered your own question pal.

Well we've won 4 games from 11 league games plus 4 or 5 in the cup.
So that's a strange thing to say

Off season turmoil doesn't make a manager tactically inept.

We have a squad that is capable of doing so much better but with him at the helm it is going to be a long hard season, not to mention boring too.

What tactics should have adopted yesterday Jenny that would have won us the game?

The squad is a good squad going forward but that's no good if your defence isn't good enough

He's the one that has signed those players because he rates them, he has the funds to go into the loan market to strengthen but he's sticking with what he's got. He's the one to blame for how easy we are to beat the defence is an unorganised joke. After every defeat fans are complaining about the same issues but he's not doing anything to fix them. He's just tactically inept and any other of the 91 clubs would have got shut by now.

Doesn't matter what tactics you use if players don't play well or are not good enough.

I thought the tactics were spot on as have said in previous posts all our players were poor except McCullough, steer, keegan, and copps for half a game. That's not including the subs

On paper this team is pretty good - apart from defence. So either the players are suddenly shite, or the manager is crap, or they have ALL been unlucky.

It's the manager isn't it.

......and the fact DRFC is really a small (and getting smaller) club finance-wise.

Until the land around the stadium is developed, DRFC will remain a league one/two outfit. But we all know the current directors didn't want to release that land. Why? It's a mystery considering they are property developers themselves.....

We all know the current directors don't want to release the land? Do we?

I'm not sure how many times it has to be said but the land cannot and won't be developed by the current owners, or I'm sure any future owners.

The land is a community asset, was designated at the time by Doncaster Council, and the VSC hold a ACV on the stadium and surrounding land. (asset of community value).

Of course they were. Louis was going to be  head croupier and the rest of the band bell hops.  We were going to be the Vegas of Yorkshire.
I blame the current board.

Bpoolrover.

He has a handy squad, good coaches, money for loans and patience from a board.

Now you tell me how he is a good manager .  Even with mediocre players a good manager can get good performances, just look at fergies last season

He's talking about the XP School, which is using the Keepmoat as a temporary base until the new permanent School opens at the Lakeside.

I wouldn't call it a handy squad you do so let's agree to disagree on that? He may have money for loans he may not as for some reason we don't seem to be getting any loan players in
