I think Halifax vs Bradford will be number one for a televised match BBC or BT

I think it's 600 in total, rather than 600 terracing.

What's the rules on selling away tickets to ST holders at a discount?

Do we know if Sam is available for FA Cup games?

COYR

I don't, but I doubt United will want him cup-tied.

I reckon Utd will let him play.  He's not going to get into their first team squad this season, even for the cups.

We do have a good record against non-league teams but I think that this one could be tricky.
It's a fair drive and I can't See us wanting to pay for an overnight stay so we could be a bit stiff at the start.

Unless I'm mistaken, we only been knocked out of the FA Cup twice by a non league team in the last 50 years.....and both times by bloody Scarborough !!

Wigan in the 60s beat us.

And.....

Rushden 1998
Southport 2000
Exeter 2004

First two, we too were non-league.  The Exeter defeat probably saved them as a club due to two games against MU in next round, one on live TV

Yep - 5 times since the War we have been beaten in the FA Cup by teams outside of the Football League, although as pointed out on two of those occasions it was simply losing to someone in the same league.

Wigan, Scarborough, R&D, Southport & Exeter........................ a worryingly large number of seaside places  :chair:.

I went to that Exeter game and we didn't really deserve to lose.  I do remember them scoring a ridiculous fluke (Dean Moxey I think it was) and was it Guy Ipoua who missed a sitter?

Think that's the game the team flew down from Leeds/Bradford. McIndoe was scared of flying and was driven down.

I prefer to compare it to Sutton Coldfield and Tiverton who were very confident and we eased through comfortably. My forecast is a 2-0 win.

My first experience of seeing us play non-league teams in the cup was the 3-0 home win vs Penrith in 81 or 82...

Was freezing that day and we were one of only 3 cup fixtures that day that survived the weather, thanks to the Belle Vue pitch.
