Im an Apple man myself. My lad is asking for a gaming pc for Christmas. Is it possible for him to build something half decent for £250? We have the monitor.I know nothing about pc's but he says him and his mate are going to build it.

I wouldn't have thought so unless you're going to buy second hand components.

Try CCL, you can specify the components you want but gaming machines usually want high-spec graphics cards which pushes the price up.

A decent graphics card will cost £100+, decent motherboard £50+ and half-decent processor £100+. You'll still need a case, a power supply and RAM (memory).
