I know a Man City season ticket holder who takes an interest in the development squad at the Etihad, he tells me that Razak is a very good player, but the problem a City is they want the ready made article so buy the players in rather than turn to the Elite Development Squad, he might still be at City if they did n't have Yaya

His wiki page doesn't read too well.
Hasn't stayed anywhere long and looks like he was sent back early from loans.
Still,I hope he does well here.

The Keepmoat has a fairly firm pitch. I reckon his right medium fast deliveries might generate a bit of bounce.....oh wait.....thats Razzaq

From listening to an interview with PD it looks as though he has been unlucky with clubs in the past 18 Months in regards to financial difficulty, signed for Anzhi and they ended up in trouble and the same with Crete, that may explain why he has had a lot of clubs

Razak was at Man City and has played in the champions or europa league.  He may not have played much but that's a decent pedigree for TLOD!!!

Another short term deal, hardly sustainable  :chair:

Sometimes such deals are the best option for the player and the club.  If he is successful here, we'll try to keep him?

But cant help but think we will just be a shop window for him ?

If he is using us as a shop window he will have more desire to perform whilst with us, which surely is a bit of a win situation for the club?

I'd say that a short term contract for someone who probably has something to prove is far more sustainable than giving him a long term contract and delving a bit into the unknown.

But, whilst we will have a cracking player until the end of the season, were gonna have to sign someone else in the summer?

I would take a risk and offer him a 2.5 year deal and maybe cash in if a bid comes in a year later.

Could turn out to be a good signing this one! Wellens needs to book up his ideas now because for me he is the one at most risk at losing his place.

That would be a massive gamble and totally unnecessary.

I got that, which is why my response was fairly calm!  I agree with Jenny, being in the shop window could be a win-win for us, even if not for very long.

On the other hand, he may fit well with the club, and earn a longer deal.

I am looking forward to seeing the lad play.

If he's only in the shop window, I wouldn't call it a win win, but a win lose

Perhaps in the opinion of someone lacking foresight, ambition and vision

One of my Man City supporting mates says he'll be good for us and for him as well. One of their better kids that came through.

A short term contract was prob all he would sign, hopefully he will do well and sign a longer deal meaning we could get a fee for him,if he plays to his potential there is no way we could keep him anyway

Why not look at him like a loan signing?

Brighton fans liked him, remember them talking about him in the pub before a game at our place a couple of year ago.
