Has the bubble finally bust for Robin G? Why oh why would someone purporting to be a multi millionaire have to Prostitute himself and his 'Wife' on a cheesy Tv reality show ?
I watched about 5 minutes worth as I was intrigued as to who the Doncaster Couple would be.
I wasn't surprised to see the Goforths on the show but turned off the Telly when 'Super slapper' complained about having a sore jaw after working of her gratitude for some trinket of jewellery he had bought her.
They even make Clarkson seem like a good ambassador for the Town!

Was he related to an old guy called Goforth that used to sweep up at Rockware glass in the early to mid- seventies?
I know that this guy had a son that ran a car showroom somewhere round East Laithe Gate I think.

Robin Goforth did have a car showroom in Doncaster town centre in the 70's. I think it was in Wood Street if I remember correctly.

The car showroom on Wood St was his Dad's which he inherited he had the garag on the racecourse for a few years then bought hayfield lakes.
I recall he was into game fishing and ran the UK team.

that's the one I was thinking about. The guy at Rockware was always saying if you need a car go and see my lad. I got the impression that it might actually be him that owned it as he had a reputation for being very tight and shrewd. He certainly wouldn't have spent money on plastic surgery.

They have been on a program like that before. He was selling cars out of the pitch next to his petrol station on Bawtry Road. He owned the petrol station near the North Bridge as well, don't know if he still does. His mrs is horrific, she was playing up for the cameras though.
