On 8 yellow cards. Two away from a two-game ban.

could do us a favour that ban (I gree that when on form he breaks up other teams play - but based on last game we need to rethink)

It looks like you're blaming him for his central midfield partner not putting the effort in, he can't be in two places at once!

He always does what he needs to do, even when others around him aren't necessarily doing what they need to do. Sometimes, unfortunately, that means he has to "take one for the team".

He's not a glamour player, but what he does he does well and he knows his limitations too.

A good defensive midfielder needs to have more to his game than just breaking up play. They should never give the ball away. They can dictate the game from in there like Doolan and Stock did. He is a passenger in possession.

Was it not more of a diamond on Saturday? PK as a DM?  Cant blame Wellens for Keegan punting the ball long to nobody when he panicked.

Keegan had more right to be on the field than Wellens on Saturday.

Said this about Keegan many times but he plays well in games where teams come onto us like at Chesterfield away because that's suits the type of player he is. That's why last season he was one of our best players because he had more chance to break up play. Dickov should not be playing him in games such as Walsall, Notts County and Crawley at home. We need more creative players because we need to break them down.

The problem with all the midfield was square pegs trying to go into round holes. We started with a diamond, with PK at the defensive end
RW and DF on the right and left and HF at the attacking point. It did not work it cannot work with those players in those positions.

HF can play at the point but his best performances have come on the flanks. DF had his best performance at the point or just behind a single striker

PK was dissapointing on Saturday but without Luke McCullough he did not have a footballing centre half to link up with so ended plying long balls.

RW is not the player he was his age appears to be catching up with him but playing left of a diamond does not work either.

So let's hope the new lad is what PD expects and we get Copps back. Next season we need younger, fitter midfield players who are technically better aswell, also a manager who can get the best out of them.

You must have left at half time, it was 442 in the second half

No it was 4 1 3 2, but no one player went consistently on the right flank apart from the Wabarra. Harry came more inside with Tyson on the left more than any other player.

I am no way trying to make excuses for RW, (who in my opinion legs have gone), just think it would make PD explore other options
