Live tonight from 7pm following Football Heaven. Just the 6th time (excluding derbies) a Rovers league match has been live on Radio Sheffield  :chair:

Unfortunately it's on AM again, which a lot in Doncaster can't get. It's not as though RS aren't aware of this fact but they obviously don't give a toss.

Yep, they know AM coverage is shit in Donny but persist in putting us on that frequency, despite being told numerous times

It is, and I have a digital radio, but the signal is not strong enough to receive it

Looked on here

I can get BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Radio York, But I can't get my local BBC radio station!

18th Nov WSM v DONCASTER
6th Dec Oldham v DONCASTER
9th Dec DONCASTERv Notts County
13th Jan Bristol City v DONCASTER

"Derby" Matches
20th Sep DONCASTERv Chesterfield
15th Nov DONCASTERv Sheff Utd
2nd Dec Barnsley v DONCASTER
17th Jan DONCASTER v Barnsley

Other League Matches

3rd Mar Preston v DONCASTER

Interesting to note than none of our 7 matches in February, which saw us climb into the play-offs, were chosen for live broadcast? (all other local clubs were broadcast at least once)
The 4 goal thriller between us and Chesterfield in January, another Radio Sheffield club, wasn't chosen for FM or AM either? (Reading v Sheff Wed and Charlton v Rotherham chosen instead)

Weirdly I can get the FM in the car, but in the house its not quite as good.  The DAB is a non starter though, whilst I can get FM, DAB just doesn't like it.  So I won't be listening tonight.

To be honest we have very rarely won in recent seasons when we have been covered by them so I'd prefer not too especially as they get mickey walker to constantly slag the club off as co commentator.

Key tonight is not to concede (at all obviously) deg not in the 1st 10 mins like we have been recently

Why the hell i do up with this poor service from Radio Sheffield . They interupt play to go to Rotherham or Chesterfield and their beloved Sheffield Utd and to cap THAT I have listen that gob shit Mickey "I've won one Game" Walker. He's brought in as a Rovers pundit , when he's the most anti Rovers pundit I've ever heard.

I'm not at all sure he even qualifies for the noun 'pundit' tbh.

He seems to have some "Godlike" status with Radio Wednesday yet he knows nowt about football, never made it as a player or a coach and to top it off he is a complete knob!!

Re Mickey Walker. Don't you think they'd like someone else to summarise. He's way past his sell by date and clearly has a problem with Richie Wellens.
I bet he still rolls up for Cops legends match and expecting to strut around like he owns the place and that he's everyone's friend.

the clue is in the station's name!

Looking at that coverage we are much of a muchness with all 4 clubs outside Sheffield.

I have more important things to worry about than radio coverage that I can't listen to anyway!

this has been done before but the name of each BBC Local Radio Station does not represent who is supposed to serve, which in our case is everyone in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.

I know RS is supposed to serve the wider area, but I really don't have a big problem with this.
