I don't see the fit with the club's central strategy of being a friendly community club . You don't need to be 'hard' to be enthusiastic .. just look at the flags and banners on the Liverpool kop . They are more about furthering the image of the club they support and boasting their successes . I agree that the skull style stuff needn't be the focus, but I don't see a conflict with it and the club being a "community club". This is for one section of the support. Many factions, one club, one aim. I'll say again, variety is good and the bland monochrome of the Keepmoat is what's going to change. Something everyone can celebrate by embracing their part of the ground and not criticising the other areas.Maybe the East and West and other sections can think about what "they" want, and make it happen in their sections. That may be comfy seats, waiter service or whatever... something for everyone

I put a tenner in to buy into the idea rather than a definite flag. When the designs are in I'll vote if given a choice. If my choice wins fair enough, if not it's no big deal. What we need is a United front where all fans buy into the idea of improving the atmosphere.A successful start with the first flag might snowball into further ones.
Variation on a theme.

I'm more of a socialist mucker but I think the finer distinctions in life may be lost on you anyway. Like the line between undertone and satirical play on a theme.Anyway, I've submitted some designs (I won't be doing any more). I fear the TDFs are eventually going to ruin this whole project. Lord knows their positivity is infectious.Bye.

I think you trying to cover up your political undertones by calling it satire. The hammer and sickle symbolism, (oppressive and violent socialism) has no place in our country. Quite frankly I find it offensive
On second thoughts, I take the first part of my above post back. Your miserablness doesn't bother me either way.The second part, however, - the part about you being a potato - I stand by wholeheartedly.
