How wonderful it was to see all those great Rovers players from past and present today. Quite sad though to think that most of those wonderful people will probably never grace the Keepmoat again, or even play together again.
I can't help but think that nothing will ever match the last 15 years of glory that those guys on show today provided.

I actually shed a couple of tears today, as they came out and im not ashamed to admit. These guys turned dreams into reality, never as a fan growing up in the 80s and seeing some of the dross in the 90s did I ever imagine we would beat weeds at Wembley, have glorious days out at Stoke and Cardiff, beat, the likes of Villa, Man City, the Sheffield clubs, Forest, Southampton, the list goes on.
It was thanks the players and management there today to make that happen. It was a chapter in my life I will never forget.
What a shame there wasn't more today to say thankyou.

Don't give up hope - I'm optimistic we will see the Championship again in the next few years. The good years are not over, but sometimes you have to have it rough for a while to enjoy the good.
