Like me consider getting Duffy back in place of Bennett.
  He looks to be out of the picture at Brum, and could be a possible cheep season long loan, with Brum picking up some of the wages.
  In my oppinion he is a better all round player at this level than Bennett ,and he has to get his career back on track and has something to prove.
  I would also like to see the youngster who played wide right in the youth cup games(sorry I dont know his name) given a couple of games pre season.
  He looked to have an attitude about him and took the best corners I saw all season against Peterborough, every one into the danger area.
  Who would you go for?.

As he left under a bit of a cloud and had a difference of opinion with PD about his use I cannot see it happening. Now had he not left as he did then he would be worth looking at.

  Didn't he have a serious injury that put him well behind at Birmingham? But in answer to your question no I wouldn't...We really need to get past this dragging old players back mentality..We remember the good things but forget the bad..In truth there is only one player I would try and sign who has been here before and that's Kumalo (bongs)...He is available I think and seems to have recovered from that horror injury..We are in the market for a strong commanding centre half and he fits my bill anyway...

when duffys name was brought up at pre season meeting g,baldwin said the deal with Scunthorpe was in the region of 200k paid in instalments ie,so much after x amount of games,x amount if we stayed in championship,x amount for goals scored.birmingham took over that deal so in actuall fact duffy only cost rovers 30k.weather the rest as been paid to scunny  could be another stumbling block plus his wages

Duffy was far more consistent than Kyle.
I'd have him back, albeit on a short term contract initially.

Duffy is a good L1 player who isn't Championship class. I wouldn't have him back though.

There's no chance of Duffy coming back while Dickov is at the club. I think he may have burned his bridges as far as others are concerned too.
