Brid/Filey/Scarborough

Hi all, looking at going to either Brid, Filey, Scarborough this summer Mrs wants to go to Primrose Valley but I fancy Cayton Bay or Southside Caravan Park

Has anyone been to all three and which did you prefer?

Would doing all three (say 4 nights in each) mean cramming too much in, or is 4 days in each enough??
McBusted are on in Scarborough but Pasha is dancing in Brid but there is a Flower Club demonstration in Filey

Would appreciate some thoughts.

We always went to Reigton Gap when we were kids

We've just had 3 nights at centenary way campsite at Filey. Massive pitches ideal for the campervan and awning. Cayton bay village site is good as well.

Primrose Valley is great, nice walk along the beach or clifftop into Filey.

Love that part of the coast! My own personal fave is the Thornwick Bay site on Flamborough Head! Altho any site along that stretch of coast tends to e worth every penny!

Ravenrover, taking your own caravan or renting a static?

The Bay Filey has houses / apartments etc and is great if you are NOT going for a static / tent etc

Reigton gap every year too! even as a new driver it was the first place I drove.
Lad yr above me at school ended up as a bouncer there, (at 17 that was akin to a footballer as a dream job!! expectations wernt great at adik hi)

Once a year would be paradise, my Parents had a touring caravan so we went every bank holiday for years. The touring area back then used to be at the back on top of the hill, the views over Filey Bay were amazing, they've changed it all around now and the statics are up there instead

Yes, never went in a tourer, and only ever once a year Gran had a static and from what I remember every static had amazing views of the Bay. Its one area (Filey to Flamborough) that's unspoilt.
Will always remember the roller-coaster road into Reighton (best bit)?

I'm with Al spent half of school hols at Thornwick and loved every minute

We (the wife, stepkids and I) still head over there in one form or another every year for a few days - we've taken to camping up at wold farm (backing onto bempton,) thornwick or if we're not with the kids, the wife and I go and do a few nights at the viking! It was great fun the first time we took em showing the kids the delights of all the flamboro head bays, danes dyke and all the coastline between filey and brid!

Took my little in to Danes Dyke last year and immersed myself in memories
My grandad's family were years ago lifeboat men at flamboro so we always visited lifeboat station
We always used to go to Sewerby too - can remember a pub there with a beer garden that let kids in (how times have changed)

Its still there and they still let kids in,but a better play area now.
