Jobs..
« on May 30, 2015, 11:54:48 am by redandwhitearmy »
Anybody know of any jobs going? Not particularly fussy but don't have much experience in anything.
Done 3 months in army training.
Did okay at school/college.
Prepared to work most shifts...

I know this isn't a job search site... But I'm getting desperate and wondered if anybody knows of anywhere potentially taking on?

Direct Group based at Lakeside are always looking for people to man the phones in the complaints department. You need 7 GCSEs or equivalent.

The people you'd work with a great bunch of people and the job is interesting and rewarding. Plenty of opportunity to get on.

Could try Donny Prison.  I know that Serco (and prison service) take on ex military staff.

What happened with the army? - any chance you could try RAF, or are you not suited to military life?  I'm ex RAF and know that the 'regime' is less coarse than the army route. Great career if you can get through the basic and trade training.

Precisely... I've never found a mini bar in a tent yet....

I live next door to two ex squaddies who are forever recalling their hardships whilst deploying.... it always galls them when I mention some of the troubles I had with room service......
