Played with Wellens at Leicester city

And he was at Swindon when A.Williams was.Don't know how many times they played together though.

I'm starting to like this business of not hearing about signings until they have put pen to paper. The club are showing some real progress this year..again he's another big lad too. Dickov is doing very well in this off season too some very solid signings. Well done to the board for continuing to back him too...

And that is how it always should be IMHO.  There are too many fans who criticise the club for the lack of transparency with signings, but I prefer the old way too!

I'd say a right back is the definite priority now but I'd also like to see another centre mid. Can't have too many midfielders in your squad, especially as our current ones aren't the youngest and have had injury problems.

Yes,the board have took a lot of stick about their commitment...We've signed some good players who won't have come cheap as they all had options..So fair play to them..

I once delivered a Next coffee table to him when he was at Leicester...lived in an apartment on the roof of a Premier Inn in the city centre

Seemed a nice enough lad

Like the policy of say nowt until there's something to say. Much better than the old used car salesman shite. Well done.

Good signing, looks like he can go like a Whippet, scaring opposition defences.

Who'd have N'Guessed that one. As they say, he looks a big strong boy.

Sounds like the ghost of O'Driscoll. We had one season 5-6 years back where the 1st team squad had 15 or 16 players who could do a turn in midfield.

I understand the concern about the right back position, particularly as Luke was roasted on more than one occasion.

It's seems he and Mitchell Lund will compete for that position for now. They're both young players and I think it's the right thing to do to give them every chance.

Sure, if they fail to adapt and we leak goals from that position then PD will have to address it one way or another. We have time to assess the situation.

I think we're in the strongest position we've been in for quite sometime going in to a season.

In the friendlies we've seen so far, they don't look like strangers. They all look well bonded and up to speed.

With no evidence whatsoever, I also get the feeling PD has chilled out a bit. Maybe being a relatively young manager it's taken a while to find his comfort zone in his man management. He now has good senior pro's who are more likely to help than hinder. The proof of course, is in the pudding when that whistle blows but the signs are positive.

I think it's vital we sign a new right back so we have that balance on both flanks because I really don't think McCullough can solve that role it's just not his style of play. The fullback needs to be a player that can still get up the pitch and support the winger which I don't think he will be able to do. But get a new right back in then I think we will be starting the season in a very strong position.

N'Guessan could prove to be as effective as Cotterill was in this league! A good signing I think!

Good signing but when are we going to sign a left footed winger,we always seem to get right footed players that come inside and never get past on the outside hit the byline and cross it in,we already have forrester that does it

I just hope the Greek FA is quicker at sorting out the paperwork this time.

We all wish they had taken a bit longer now though. Like, until the end of last season.

Ah, but if they had we'd all be thinking we missed out on the player who would have got us promoted.

Looks a good unit. Looks like he likes to get forward, not afraid to battle the opposition off the ball, and looking at his first touch with regards to controlling the ball I reckon this guy may be an asset!

If AEL Limmassol was his last club then it will be the Cyprus FA I beleive

It was AEL of Larissa, so it will be the Greek FA.

Maybe we should tell them that the bailout money depends on speedy approval!

Has everyone forgotten that Tyson can go wide left and that he doesn't need to cut inside and also that he is very quick (and can run with the ball under control Alan).
