Great news.
And Mrs DaveDRFC can look forward to getting a nice pair of dangling furry earings for Christmas.

Oh that is the most wonderful news. I'm so happy for you..  :) :) I'm guessing he is going to be under house arrest for foreseeable future now.

He is under house arrest for now, with occasion supervised garden time! Will be a while before we trust him outside on his own. Very good to have him home, although Buzz doesn't seem to think so!

Maybe Buzz has forgot him. A few weeks to a Cat seems a lot longer than it does to a human. To Buzz it might seem like light years since there's been more than one moggie in the family.

Fantastic news!
Our cat has been missing some 2 years now, so it's great to hear you've had a happy ending.

I lost a moggie once. Years ago now. Can't believe how upsetting it was. Anthropomorphism gone mad tbh. She never came back sadly.

The wife's always been a bit of an anthropomorphist, and  I'm strictly of the opinion that an animal is just an animal. Ironically, our cat always strolls straight past our lass and throws its arms around me when it wants attention.

There's a good reason for that too BB! Cats don't like being looked at. It's some sort of dom/sub thing. So them that like cats, go cooeee and such like and look at the damn things, always put the cat off. Whereas chaps who don't like cats, ignore the little perishers, don't upset the cat in the slightest so said moggie makes a beeline for the lower leg rubbing post!

Poor cat, thought he had made freedom and now he's been captured again.

"That's a funny looking dog you've got there, mate."  ;)

I too have had to take a cat for walkies. Not easy!

Bloody hell Dave! She's the spitting image of my Minnie who went walkabout a few years back now. Where did you get her from? Minnie must have had time by now to get from Gloucestershire to Donny.  Can I have my pussy back?

Well Woody is only 4 and also a boy, so unless he discovered time travel and had a sex change along the way I think we can be sure it's not the same cat :)

He is a fine looking chap though, we got him from some flats on the same road as the Sheffield United academy. A woman who lived there saw a stray cat give birth to 4 kittens in a recycling bin so took them in, we were looking for some kittens and found them on Sheffield Forum. Ended up with 2 of the boys, Buzz and Woody, very nearly a third as someone let her down last minute but she found the other boy another home - I think he is called Kenzie now and their sister is called Angel. We still get yearly texts off the woman we got them from on their birthday!

Oh that's brill Dave. Actually, the village where is live has a significant population these days of cats whose maternal great, great, great etc grandma was Minnie. She had 2 litters before she disappeared and they were snapped up across the village.

Cheers

Is there an address we can send to for a ''Personally pawed letter''?!, or where cat treats can be posted to him?, i'm really happy you got him back, we have took strays in a lot, and once you win their trust, you couldn't get a more loyal animal, some part of them remembers the bad times i'm sure of it.
