Quote from: Alickismyhero on October 10, 2015, 04:46:17 pmAlthough a poll like this is relatively small in relation to the full membership of the VSC, Sean has more than 50% of the 222 people who voted.I just wonder what the poll would suggest if it were between Clark and Sean?Sorry Alick but you being selective with which poll you use.On another poll on this forum 82% didn't want SOD as our next manager.

That's two polls showing a high degree of support for Sean. Just goes to show that perhaps you are out of step with the majority. He won't be back..........?
But surely any manager will have a high percentage of fans not wanting them if there's about 50 people on the list
Yes you are correct Alick. there are the same number of votes for the top 2. But..................... 74% don't want him as our next manager on that poll. What's that about the majority?
If you follow your argument through logically the same applies to all the candidates as Dickos says. Your comment does not hold water, zero cred I am afraid.Surely the main point of the poll is the level of support for Sean, it is phenomenal for a manager sacked, even I am surprised. If you put both polls together his popularity is excellent. It must be hard trying to rubbish the polls, but there you go, flogging a dead horse.
Welred,I will explain it again.......The same can be said of all the candidates eg Garcia had the same percentage against him. The winner of a poll is the first past the post, that's the game. I am not saying he will win it but he won't be far behind will he, or do you disagree?Because Sean receives negative comments from the likes of you its incredible he is up there at all.Why do you think he has done so well? or is it your opinion is out of step? Its all academic really, he won't be back..........?

I was talking to Welred!!!!! Its like being in the playground again
How childish. see you after school.Look when I put Wellred I also meant to put Yorkiered because you are like two pees in a pod I don't have a problem with that, whats in a name? The debate was fine until you went off on one. Childish.See you in class tomorrow then? Don't be late
Yorkiered of course.

As was my response, but that appears to have gone straight over his head.
Alick,My comment was a tongue in cheek response to the way the thread had degenerated, not to do with the original subject.
Argueing over the next manager, is similar to people argueing over religion, we worship a god, or in our case have preferences for our next 'God'(manager), we just don't know the name of our 'Next God'!.We all want the best for our club, we just see different 'Gods'(managers), who should do the job, opinions make a forum, no point in getting too serious about it really!.
