I only respond to topics where Sean is mentioned I do not start topics.

 If you look at the title of the topic "Would you like to see SOD back as our manager" Its quite specific!

Then the topic is primarily about Sean! Where someone makes a point is it not unreasonable to counter with your point to agree or in fact disagree.

For those on VSC that think that the topic is not worthy of comment then don't make one and ignore the topic. You will never get 100% agreement on a forum topic!

Reading back its not unreasonable to make the comments that have been made on both sides of the debate.

I really don't see the problem, if the topic is not worthy of comment, don't make one.

There have been 80 replies to the topic with 2067 views and 250 votes.

The topic has had a lot of interest with a lot of people expressing an opinion I would suggest that is healthy for our forum.

Sean is now level with Garcia in first place. That's two polls showing a high degree of support for Sean.

Well that's not strictly true, is it? I voted for Glyn Snodin, but that doesn't mean I simply wouldn't want anyone else. There are lots of good candidates on that list that I'd be happy with.

This is the second time I've heard that Yorkie is suspected of being Wellred in disguise. That's not a good place to be Yorkie. To a degree I actually agree with you, but if you look at the title it encourages a debate about a poll. If you don't think the topic is worthy of an intelligent comment from you ,then fine, don't make one, you don't have to.

Argueing over the next manager, is similar to people argueing over religion, we worship a god, or in our case have preferences for our next 'God'(manager), we just don't know the name of our 'Next God'!.

You make a good point Sammy - it's just as pointless as arguing over religion, but unfortunately human nature means that more people have been killed in the name of religion over the centuries than any other reason and football fans will never agree on anything!

Although I think there was unanimity that we didn't want Lee Clark as manager!
