Why would anyone want to watch passing one touch football when you can see rj launching the ball 60 yards up field to no one. So for me its a no.

That last year under sod, the player with most touches was Gary woods

Why not have a poll for those who actually attend the KMS for games.

Sod would need a new team bar 1 or 2. Id dare say we would go down with sod and this team. We're not set up with the right player's to play sods style.

I think he might get a tune out of Coppinger and Wellens. But the squad is nothing like as talented as the one he had in 07-08.

Some of us even though we live abroad still listen to every game we can, go to games every year and still have an allegiance to the town and club....does the fact we can't get to the KM weekly mean we don't count?

I am sure games can be a lot better on player or whatever. You are lucky you don't have to put up with what we are being served up at the moment  ;)

Yes that's a really representative figure isn't it. 56 fans from a total of around 4k  have voted for him!!!

Yorkie, if your vote was in a 56% majority you'd be arguing it was representative.

35% don't want him that's higher than I'd expect
Put a list up of managers available and see what percentage he gets

Because I believe in his philosophy, I'd be a hypocrite to say a resounding no. As said above though, you wonder how it would take to change things around.

But is time a reason to say no? Everyone who's voted yes has to accept the risk of more pain before reward. For the long term good, I would say yes.

You watch, he'll end up being unveiled by Rotherham tomorrow.

The club needs fresh ideas and someone new what is it with our fans always wanting people to return times move on and 1 win in 9 months was shocking it ended for a reason. He would also be without his right hand man it's a no from me.

I agree mate but Clarke and Ferguson don't represent fresh ideas. No club our size could could have recovered from losing Sharp like we did. He was in the prime of his life and our best player. Those at Brighton that day know what beautiful football we were playing.

Very fine margins.  We could have won at Brighton, had Sharp not got injured and I am sure he would have done well from us in later games.

We should have then beaten Forest at home bar a mistake by Woods and Bennett hitting the post, was it 3 times?

We deserved to draw vs West Ham

We could have had 7 points from 9 at the start of that season, with a fit Sharp. Think of how our performances could have gone with the confidence that would have followed?

In the end we had 1 point from 21.

DonnyBazRover - I think there lies the question to all the nay ears, how would we feel if he did go to Rotherham. Personally I'd have him back in a flash, and that's from someone who screamed and shouted at him for the first four months of his tenure. That was until I realised we had dropped lucky and had a real gem.
Realistically though, we are nothing more than a well run, low end third tier football club with very average attendances. Let's hope we get the best of the merry-go-round managers who ply their trade at this level. Having said all that, I still dream of us appointing someone different and exciting who none of us expected. Maybe that will reinvigorate my love for the club which is sadly diminishing by the day

Voted yes on principle, simply because I believe he's indisputably one of the strongest candidates mentioned in connection with the job. However in reality the answer is no, for the very reason all these threads demonstrate. The amount of 'points scoring' amongst fans would be truly unbearable. On one side there'd be people genuinely wanting us to lose to justify the minds they've already made up about him. On the other there'd be those going way over the top and beyond every time we won a game, calling out the 'SO'D out brigade.' We've seen it all before. Caught in the middle there'd be a few that just want us to do well, but they'd be getting battered from all angles. Unfortunately it'd make for a toxic atmosphere.

Said it before, we really need a candidate that the fans will unite behind. If only...
