Not even in the squad yesterday. Not injured. Fergie was asked about it post game and just said 'he wasn't in my plans'. Whitehouse and McKay in front of Forrester? Find that hard to believe.

The question is really have we already received a bid/interest in him? Sheff U, Rotherham or some other lower end championship team would be my guess.

Has he even been on the pitch under Fergie? Has there been a bust up that I have missed? Normally these kind of comments are 'not in my plans at the moment', but this doesn't even seem to be dangling a carrot!

Seems a waste of his undoubtable talents.

He undoubtedly has got the talent. Just a shame he doesn't use it more often. I don't know but DF sees his every day in training and maybe there might be an attitude problem as well?

I must admit I expected him to go out on loan before the window closed. I doubt he'll be here come the end of January. What has happened we don't know, but it seems he's upset someone.

I get the feeling there are one or two others who don't feature in Ferguson' plans.

It's a very strange situation because our other wingers, Stewart and Felipe are both on loan, so we must have got some assurance that one or both can stay for longer, otherwise we're going to be left with one winger who hasn't played for however many months.

Your right there Copps....You can only assume that Forresters agent has been on demanding a move and Fergie has agreed to that when the window opens..Like you say bags of potential but just doesn't seem to have either the consistency or attitude to go with it...the game is littered with those type of players...
From Forresters point of view if he cant get in the squad, nether mind the bench he needs to leave..Whatever your reputation you can soon get forgotten about and if he finds the right fit for him,he can still be a great asset to someone...

He had a couple of outings from the bench in the away games at Peterborough and Millwall. He's not been on the pitch since.

He was an unused sub against Stalybridge but I guess his omission yesterday might owe something to not allowing him to become cup-tied.

Looking back, Rob Jones seemed similarly reluctant to use him, at least as a starter. It could be argued that he was coming back after injury then, but it could mean any "issues" pre-date Ferguson's arrival.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we signed Stewart on a permanent basis.

It is a significant fact that none of our three managers have reckoned Forrester  It must be his character !

So far I would describe Alcock as average tbh but seen as though Fergy has worked with him before he knows what he's capable off...Looks like he needs the confidence of a decent run in a team...

Difficult to just disregard a player as good as Forrester.

Maybe DF is looking to see what reaction he will get from Forrester, see if Forrester is willing to fight for his place.

Certainly don't think Forrester has been overlooked based on football ability alone. I watched the programme about Fergie senior and his attitude was if he didn't think a player was right for the dressing room/didn't buy in to what the manager wanted then his advice was 'get rid'. Which is what he did with Beckham.
You have to think that something like this was connected with Wellens move and with Forrester not being given a chance.

Can't see it myself. More likely his move has been agreed if I had to guess.

We will find out very soon!

Judging by past txts he's probably got a new jumper for xmas. Tends to be a bit of  a wind up merchant tho he's been pretty quiet of late.

I dont think ill forgive his "banter" when he posted "Vegas booked for [date of playoff's]". When some fans questioned him he said he was "just seeing who would bite". Why would you wind up your own fans??

Would suspect Wellens and Forrester will be gone almost straight away.

Loan for Main?
Might pay up contracts of Chaplow and N'Guessan if we get a few in.

He'll be excited about getting a contract at another club based solely on his talent which he only applies 50% of the time.
