Sammy why don't you offer your services to the club, even on a commission basis?

Yeah let's bankrupt the club by signing a load of shite past it players

RedJ, That's a harsh judgement on Sammy, he does come up suggestions of young'uns who the club might want to sign.

I thought it was interesting how NC made a comment to how he would have signed Williams at the Blunts if he had still been there along with DF's comments about how the club did some good business to get here. It shows in someways that if PD had been more adventurous in his tactics he had the players and board backing to do well.

It makes you wonder if DF will realise this and know if the player is right one that the board will back him

Agree, PD was very good at finding good players, but couldn't get the best out of them. I'm sure the Board will back DF in the January transfer window, perhaps it was part of the deal for him becoming the manager at Rovers. Others will know that better than me.

I am not sure why there is all this conjecture about who DF is going to bring in, in January. If all the loan players stay as seems likely then he has said quite clearly one striker will be coming and that's it.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that the extentions of the two Everton lads is already excellent backing by the board, but yes, further backing would be wonderful.

Really unsure about this lad, his general play is pretty awful but seems to get away with it as he gets the odd goal. If you look at his record he's a journey man striker who had a couple of good seasons in a decent Swindon side. Not trying to slag him just an observation.
Have you changed your mind yet?!

Maybe the next time his scores at the KM we should sing Nellie the Elephant instead of the AW song.

Andy "Tiger" Williams, who will roar at your defenders, and will put fear into your goalkeepers.

I'm not sure we would GATOR big enough offer to be tempted to sell him anyway.

Everything has it's price and he's hitting good form.

I hope we don't sell him and I don't think we will, but I wondered what others thought.

It's already almost as legendary as 'being a Kitson' - which his analysis does rather remind you of.

Well that really is hilarious coming from old father time who refers to football as "togger" and who's only contribution to DRFC is posting in Dickensian terms on this forum.
I am delighted that Andy Williams is banging the goals in but am still of the belief that his first touch is poor.
I notice that nobody replied to my comment that DF had him in training on the day after Boxing Day working on his touch.
I can live the comment down as I still stand by it. I hope he keeps working on his "touch" and keeps scoring lots of goals for us.

https://youtu.be/2mUNl0BjJk4  Doesn't look much wrong with his touch here! Should imagine managers having centre forwards working on their 1st touch is par for the course?!
