Can I put this to bed, if you want someone to blame throw it at our chairman who is refusing to give DF the funds our owners have provided and the money he saved from moving players on. I said there was a stumbling block so now you know. As to why he's doing it, I haven't a clue.

If this is true our chairman has some explaining to do!

If that is the case aren't the board to be blamed for allowing the scenario to continue?

wasn't a case of JR pretending he as money, because lets face it hes not short of a few bob.Under the current regulations its hard for anybody taking over a club as Bolton are now finding.Didnt the same JR wipe off a few million owed to him by the rovers.Lets just face the real facts the best and exciting times at the rovers was when JR was involved with Bramhall and Watson, since his depature its been all downhill.

You are John Ryan's personal Bank Manager and I claim my £5.  :woohoo: ;) ;) :headbang:

BB - quite agree. If it is Blunt being difficult, then I'm afraid he board are just as culpable given that they entrusted him with this position and equally are more than capable of removing him from it.

If the investigation moves at the speed of Operation Yewtree et al we might all be long gone by the time anything comes of it.

Acko, i think JR wrote off money owed to him because he hadn't put money in for one or two seasons and they cancelled each other out. Bit of JR spin there.

The subject matter could not be brought up at MTOM, as like as not few knew ( if any ). Even now there appears to be no information freely available regarding whatever is alleged to have taken place.
So we let the Police do their job, shake the basket and see what falls out.

He won't be here long Billy, just finalising the details before he becomes our first million pound director sale. Replacing Byrne at Sunderland.

Fergie praised the board last week for helping with signings, he wouldn't say that if he was unhappy

He's not going to come out and slag them off dickos.

Of course, but he doesn't have to say anything does he

If you look at the accounts for year ended June 2014:

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/03739676/filing-history

This would suggest that each put in just shy of a million each in that financial year.

-£ 26,908,431 says these people have put enough money in ...................read the accounts . This is the cumulative loss.

One thing I will say is that although the debt was much reduced in the Championship season just gone ; the payroll of the playing staff was less than in the previous Division 1 season. Any wonder we were relegated ?

Hoola we were relegated by an injury time goal in the final match of the season. From a position where we looked safe with 10 matches to go - and over which much angst has been expressed on here many times since.

Yes it is a wonder we were relegated in 2014 - we should have stayed up.
