I've emailed the telegraph and argus too. They won't like the local media sniffing around this one either.

The power of the pen, or in this case, the keyboard.

Hello all. It's safe to say that us Bradford fans are pretty embarrassed about this whole sorry affair.

In the interests of extending an olive branch I'll tell you that you're wasting your time with the above email addresses and give you a couple that are useful:

Mick Lamb. Ticket Manager: micklamb@bradfordcityfc.co.uk

James Mason -  Chief Operating Officer  jamesmason@bradfordcityfc.co.uk

The second one is the one you really need to use if you want to make yourselves heard. Good luck.

Agreed Rigo , but say if you had to delete a few hundred, all about the same topic then someone , somewhere would say something. If it was part of a concerted effort to protest about this situation and they were getting it from all angles then surely it is worth 15 seconds to send one.

Add to this local and poss national media interest along with perhaps emails from supporters of other clubs and it creates a much bigger picture of online protest.

It will reach a point where they simply cannot ignore it.
And I'm not advocating one person sending multiple emails, just one each. Tell them how many of your group will not be attending the game as a result of their actions.

Let Collymore and Durham know on talk sport.

Them guys care passionately about the fans.

This whole thing is a disgrace.

The trouble is when everyone pays up and goes it will soon be forgotten. The only way to make a stand against this is BOYCOTT the game.
It might also be a good idea to email Look North and Calendar.

well whether e-mailing achieves something or not I have let their main guy know that myself and my two young adult sons will not travel in principle over their pricing.

I bought ten tickets for friends and family last season.
Not getting any this year as I explained in my email to James Mason.
It'll possibly be Mark Lawn's idea. He likes to Wheel and deal.

They are claiming the deal was never finalised on twitter...Didn't say that when we advertised it for them though did they...Your only as good as your word unless your Bradford City that is....Sadly our fans seem split on what to do Boycott/protest...

Fwiw my first inkling is simply don't go - however if a peaceful protest outside valley parade is an option - go for that! Stand/sit outside the ground with the radio on and make as much peaceful noise, outside the away turnstiles, as possible so the players/manager of both teams know we're there!

What are the rules about congregating outside a ground though?
The rules for football seem different to other sections of society.

You had a good rant about this live on Radio Sheffield. I've asked why Barnsley did this and then Bradford.I believe they will be following this up with their counterparts in West Yorkshire.

Still be interesting to know why Rovers went ahead and published that there was a reciprocal deal in place?

Telegraph & Argus: Mason: Bradford City never agreed to £15 ticket deal with Doncaster

I've been swapping emails with James for a few days.
My point is that very few City fans pay full price but all away fans have to.
Reciprocal deals would also benefit City's travelling fans.
I'll be missing my first Rovers match at Valley Parade in years, it hurts but £25 for an away end with inadequate toilets and no bar is too much.
