Gillingham equalise  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
3 mins into injury time too. They seem to be on top with 60% possession and Shrews prob counter attacking.

1 goal win for Blackpool would be good for us. A Fleetwood win is disastrous.

No it's not. We need to get above two teams. Most likely ones are Blackpool and Shrewsbury. We're unlikely to top Fleetwood given their GD and the fact that they have Crewe to play.

I'd take a Fleetwood win and a Gillingham win. Brings it down to a shootout between us, Blackpool and Shrewsbury but it gives us a real chance of topping those two.

At the time I posted that Shrewsbury were winning. A Fleetwood win would have seen us 5 point behind both teams.

edit: And due to Fleetwood's superior gd and Shrewsbury's game in hand, it was practically curtains for us in that scenario.

What I sad was correct.

The problem is we are relying on other results to go our way. Even 3 wins might not be enough, a win at Chesterfield would have helped matters.

Equally well, a win anytime in the 3 months from the New Year holiday.

Hey ho. Gone now. We've got an outside chance.

I believe a Blackpool Win and Shrewsbury loss would be better for us with remaining fixtures

19th - Fleetwood 47pts
Blackpool (h)Lose
Walsall (a)Lose
Crewe (h)Win
50pts

20th - Shrewsbury 47 pts
Gillingham (a)Lose
Walsall (a)Lose
Peterborough (h)Draw
Swindon (a)Draw
49pts

21st - Blackpool 45 pts
Fleetwood (a)Win
Wigan (h)Lose
Peterborough (a)Draw
49pts

22nd - Doncaster 42 pts
Coventry (h) Win
Crewe (a)Win
Burton (h)Win
51pts

With Fleetwood's goal difference too I agree, though note Dagenham at Plymouth today - don't rule out the ones who have nothing to play for at this stage of the season. Chesterfield are also well in there, could do with them losing.

Just as important Burton are winning, if they are promoted before they play us it could make life easier.

Maybe - but it can also work both ways - pressure off and they can play a more attacking game.....

More importantly if we can win today, and win next week then we will have built up some momentum and confidence

Chesterfield
Swindon (a)
Bury (h)
Bradford (a)

Lose today and they'll be very nervous against Bury and Bradford is a tough game.

Oldham winning again, a Rovers old boy scores for them, Forte. They've shown how to get out of a relegation scrap.

But, if they lose, they're also catchable. Fingers crossed we hold on and a few of these results go for us.
