Only if they cause trouble inside the stadiums, so they can carry on regardless on the streets

Question, as the Marseille Ultra were causing trouble as well, why has no warnings, sanctions been passed against the French FA as there has been against both the Russian and English FA?

But I think I know the answer

By all accounts they can only act upon what happens inside the stadiums.
What happens in the towns is for the police to deal with and for the courts to decide punishment on.

They seem keen on attaching that punishment to England for trouble away from ground

During the 1982 World Cup I was at University. I was watching the Soviet Union v Scotland game on what passed for a big screen in those days. A Soviet defender made a bad error and I commented "if he does that again he'll be off to the salt mines."

A lefty was sitting near me and launched a tirade in my direction, basically saying that that sort of thing never happens. Cue much general mirth. Bloody Stalinists!

And this morning on 5 Live, a Russian cabinet minister said that the suspended punishment was part of a private war being waged against Russia by the EU and the USA and that thousands of England fans attacked the Russians in Marseille so they had to defend themselves against potential English and French Jihadists because France is full of Arabic people.

Nicky Campbell was so stunned he had to end the interview

Russian flares set off inside the stadium today.
Will they be expelled from the competition?

mmm, i also doubt it.
If they did though would it have any bearing on them hosting the next world cup?

Any English supporters going to Russia must be mad after what has happened in France.

They'll finish bottom of the group anyway. They are one of the three worst teams in the tournament.

Which kind of puts England's performance on Saturday into context.

Not know they've lost to Slovakia because all their results will be null and void.

I rather doubt it, there's still a healthy supply of that radioactive polonium stuff to be used up.

They may well be but they are 1 victory away of finishing red and sending Bales, sorry Wales, home
