Could have been worse, I miss out on several long distance away games; Cheltenham, Exeter, Plymouth, Portsmouth due to weddings/hen do's and honeymoons. But also miss out on Grimsby and Notts County away which is irritating given they are local. Can't have it all I guess!

Absolutely belting set of fixtures. Four of our closest away games on key dates in the season, big away followings for each. Don't have to go to Plymouth or Portsmouth on a tuesday night. Great start to April. Promotion secured at Wycombe away.

Bring it on, don't know why people are moaning, the effect on revenue for the club is marginal.

Will start "logging" interesting predictions starting with "Promotion secured at Wycombe away" ... reckon it will be a game or too later earlier than that  :clapping:

I'm very pleased with these fixtures, all the away days I wanted are on Saturdays at reasonable times of the year. We have had better luck with home games on the 'big' dates the last couple of seasons so I don't mind it being different this year. I always prefer starting away anyway, it's far better, and the final game is actually my closest geographical away trip.

Also, it's alright moaning that we're away first and last, and boxing day and new year but the latter two are the club's closest rivals this season, so they've given us 'local' away trips over christmas instead of teams like Coventry who we have had away on Boxing Day int he last few years.

Bring it on, can't wait for Accrington.

Try getting a train on boxing day and new years eve, at least one of those should have been a hime fixture

Fair enough but not everyone can be at home on those dates, and at least it isn't a long trip. Plus there's always alternative transport methods - car since it's not so far away, or supporter's coach.

I think people tend to just complain every year no matter what the schedule looks like, not every team can be perfectly accomodated throughout the season. Yes it would be better to have at least one home game over christmas but it isn't the end of the world.

Sounds like you might be having it all, you have put honeymoons down as a plural.

This is the import file for my iCloud calendar that I have just created for myself. See if it's any benefit for you.

It's a .ics file so should be fine for other email systems - I quickly tested it on Google calendar and it seemed to work fine.

Pompey, Exeter and Plymouth nicely spaced a month apart on each for me. Looking forward to them.

Just booked train tickets, just hope we can get match tickets, I read earlier that generally away fans get 1,100 at Stanley, we will sell that out

They are building a new stand, but given they have just got permission it is not likely to be up by the time we visit;
Planning permission received – Accrington Stanley FC

They have removed the seats behind the goal in the home end as well.

Her other half must be pretty good to offer two honeymoons...

Any Saturday London trips?

Guess who's on holiday...

Good news is I'll only miss one home game as it stands, was expecting to miss loads.

Steve Maclaren?, Budgie smugglers on, umbrella in one hand, list of targets for his next job in the other!. :coat:
