Accrington train tickets
« on July 06, 2016, 03:50:23 pm by Mustapha-Dump »
I have got some Adult return train tickets from Manchester to Accrington on the 6th August for the away game, 5 of which are no longer needed.
£9.80 per return would like face value for them if anybody wants them. If you are quick you can get a Donny - Manchester return for £19 that day, so you could have an early train, couple of hours drinking in Manchester, train to Accrington for the game, train back to Manchester couple more hours drinking then get train back to gods own town for less than £30.

Anyway as I said 5 available, would prefer to sell them all together but not essential, cheers

A Donny to Manchester return tomorrow is £33 so I doubt it

No I just had a quick browse on the trainline.com to try and get the answer to your question! That was the first that came up, to be honest I don't know the usual price of a return ticket to Manchester I just thought £19 was good and would be useful to a potential buyer of the tickets I have spare

I make the opposite journey on the same train when I come to home games.  On the day price last season was about £23 return.

Just been looking into this as undecided whether to drive, go on the bus or get the train and according to Virgin East Coast website the on the day price for a Donny-Accrington return is £24.20, changing in either Brighouse or Leeds.

Be careful on the Leeds route as there are diversions & bus replacement services running that weekend for some trains.

We booked these with a good drink in Manchester planned, but it is quite a niche offer I appreciate, still if anyone wants them they're still available, I stress it is just a Manchester - Accrington return, you'd still need a Donny to Manchester return
