He's not had a good start so it's understandable in many ways.  What is concerning for them is their inability to keep a manager. Suggests that actually they either can't appoint the right one or can't accept just how tough staying in that league is for a club that size.

I think fatty Evans will be on his way back.I thought  he was sucking up for the job on last weeks radio dee dah commentry.
The chairman was a personal friend of his, the fans are great, what a wonderful stadium, relegation can be overcome, every soundbite the slimy t*** could come out with without getting his knees dirty.

Fatty Evans will definitely be back there cap in hand, the snivelling, creeping arsehole.

He'd be the natural choice but wasn't there a lot of nasty things said on both sides when he left last time?

I foresaw this with Rothrum. Tony Stewarts hearts in the right place but he simply does not have enough money. Similarities to us really. Destination championship, but then what?

Don't care who's manager as long as they come down this season, can't stand the f**kers.

You've got to do it in the first couple of seasons after you go up from League One. Otherwise your good players move on and it costs you too much to replace with similar quality.

Sound familiar?

Rob Staton reckons Kenny Jackett to Rotherham is a done deal.

The former Rover John Doolan was part of Stubbs' backroom team and has also got the chop.

It was a different John Doolan. Ours coaches in the academy at Everton.

Sorry, I thought it was ours and he'd gone with Stubbs as a result of their Everton connection.

Both John doolans were coaching at Everton at the same time. I bet that made the brew list confusing!

Rotherham have replaced Alan Stubbs with Kenny Jackett, a good replacement for them

Apparently he sets his teams up with an emphasis on physicality at the expense of creativity. In other words he's a bit of a Donkey Jackett.

Pancho,

Rotherham's survival will be more achievable, and affordable, if more emphasis is put on their physical game rather than attempting to make them more creative.

I was merely pointing out that the position will suit Jackett.

... AND very noisy when they each were singing "One John Doolan" at the top of their voices whilst pointing to themselves !

He reckons a big part of their league position is down to their off-field lifestyle. He's going to ban smoking, Jackett.

It won't go down well with the players if he does. He'd better get ready for a lot of flak, Jacket.

He was very lucky to get to the interview. His car broke down with a puncture. He ended up having to jack it, jackett.

As long as he doesn't start throwing his weight about too much with the players, one or two of them are hard cases and will leather Jackett.

Apparently Rotherham are in so much relegation trouble, all their players have been told to roll up their sleeves and get ready for combat, Jackett
