I might be missing something here, but although he regularly clashed with users I don't think he did so enough/on a big enough scale to want to remain anonymous. In fact I'd have thought the opposite, that he was anything but a "keyboard warrior".

Still not been sighted. Seems like people finding out who he actully is has driven him underground. It's a shame really.

I haven't seen anywhere that suggests people have "found out" who he actully [sic] is?
And it might be me, but I get the impression you don't really care?

I often wondered if you and BST were the same person.

On a serious note, I wonder if he's had to sell his laptop following the devastating financial effect of Brexit?

I thought that BST was in the news in the fall out with Wroey.
It's only a forum, surely with all that is going off in the world an opinion on a forum is the least of anybody's worries. I don't give a stuff if anybody knows who I am, I think that I am usually polite and quite happy for people to have a different view to me.
Surely that's what a forum is for, it can even change your view.

Seems that from around this moment he vanished:

As for actually caring, care is a strong word. Do I think this forum is a better place when he contributes his wit and wisdom, yes.

There's always a risk when you use a picture of yourself for your avatar. Even when one of a very flattering nature is used, like in BST's case.

There's also a chance of mistaken identity should a picture of yourself look like someone else. I used a personal photo for a while, and poor old Tom Cruise got his head kicked in.

Dead livid he was.

I thought when I first posted on B.S.T.s disappearance he would not be still missing at this stage.
I hope it is by his own choice, and not illness or any mishap.
I would like to see him back posting on here again, there  are not enough of us who care about the Rovers as it is.
I wonder if he is Brian the Blade and hasnt got enough time for us now they are doing better?

If he is Brian the Blade, he will probably be back posting on here about February.

No need for concern as to illness or mishap Selby, BST is absent by choice.

Like you though I very much would like to see him back.

A shame he's gone, I always enjoyed his posts even though I didn't always agree with them. Perhaps being the only person apart from myself who immediately becomes rock hard at the mention of Paul Heffernan had something to do with that.

Think he has finally come to terms with reality that Theo will never be a double figure season striker in professional football. Such news can often take time to come to terms with, but time is a great healer.

Must admit I do miss some of the arguments we had. Like the time he said I was wrong about  Newcastle United's home strip consisting of Black and White stripes, and insisting it was actually White and Black stripes.

Selby, and others, Billy is absent by choice. I made the point back in post No. 10. I heartily regret that decision. He made us all think. And thinking is an art form not practised anywhere near often enough.

Cheers chaps

Bob,thanks for some form of good news,I only hope he has not forsaken his support for our great club entirely, and still attends the games when he can.
Like others on here I miss his wit and at times his down right cussedness on subjects, personally I always found his comments entertaining and mostly informative even if I did not agree with them.
Lets hope that at some time in the future he feels he can come back and entertain the likes of myself again.
Bentley, yourself,Dutch, and many others are the lifeblood of this forum,of course not everyone agrees with each other, but the one thing we have in common is the well being of our club.

He's one of the best on here. Is he the fella who used to dress up as donny dog and was a board member for a time?. A loss to the forum in my opinion it can get a bit quiet at times on here. He starts quite a few posts that lead to discussion and disagreements at times but's that's what a forum is for.

You're thinking of Andy Liney.

Although the thought of BST dressing up in a dog suit did bring a smile to my face.

Every time I open this thread I think there is going to be a post from BST saying "I'm back bitches" in the voice of the chink from hangover.

This sighting was taken earlier today at an absent members gathering. Not sure who the other bloke is like.
