Cheers - in all the time you have known me I bet that's the first time I have been speechless !

What I would have said or tried to say is I would donate money to Charities that mean a bit to me and are connected to Rovers ... Firefly is one Bluebell Wood is second Third is Eve Merton Trust (after a chance meeting with a Rovers supporting Lady in The Little Plough) and last but not least is TIA Greyhound Rescue at Finningley where my Charity Penalty money went this Season. (Also its full of Rovers    )

To be honest I was simply stunned. I wanted to mention the Charities I would give some to but my mouth just failed to work. I can have another go on Tuesday when I pick up the loot !

Cheers to all ... and to make it clear I will be treating my 4 Charities as above but I have to look after my seat buddies as well and have just bought 2 rounds in my local (thankfully NOT a Wetherspoons with 200 customers) and my wife has her eyes on the prize as well !

So there will be something for everybody because at the end I was going bananas having backed Rovers to win and both teams to score which netted me nearly a tenner 15 Quid !

... Yeah the slightly pleased thing was a bit "limp" I must admit but I had thought (of course) that I might win and what I might say ... but had not really thought at 9 to 1 that I would !

You are of course "nailed on" whether its The Old Vault or Barge Inn !

I was not trying to be deliberately cool and just had a "rabbit in the headlights moment". I had thought of some things I might say just in case I was lucky enough to win but I was just stunned and could not conjure anything meaningful up - and I am still getting over a crocked back and Pneumonia so I could not leap up and down either !

I could only think of Firefly as the VSC support that and despite giving my Charity Penalty £50 last year to Bluebell Wood (a Rovers Charity) and the £50 this Season to TIA Greyhounds I could not bring them to my mind which was totally blank !

Once back at my Seat I got a round of applause from my Seat Buddies and my ability to speak came back - and boy did it come back. I deffo over compensated !!! I have another chance on Tuesday of course when I can give a controlled and hopefully lucid interview and if I win next year I WILL be prepared

Cheers and apologies for the earache you must have ! Got just under £15 back with the late winner (cheers LM) and feeling on a roll I bought a Lucky Dip which was based on yesterdays draw and got 3 numbers for £25 !
