Thought it was going to be one of those games we dominated only to concede late on and lose. Was nice to be wrong!

Someone nearby me pointed out that our players didn't complain to the ref...

Our players rarely complain to the ref about any decision, but the ref clearly signaled for handball, though not many around me, including myself saw it (the handball), but we were at the other end of the west stand though.

I considered that he was covering his face to avoid seeing the bloody great boot coming at him, I was astounded when he gave handball. But hey ho

There seemed to be a few decisions that "weren't quite right"

why was the first goal  not given

If you want the answer straight from the horses mouth I recommend you go right to the ref. If you remember the  historical decision from Mr Oliver in the Brentford game, when he gave that penalty in the last few minutes of the game, because we were at the other end I had no idea why he gave the penalty, so I made a request through the Referee's Association. Mr Oliver responded and said it was because of a RECKLESS tackle in the penalty area.
Now if you want the actual reason for the decision by the ref in this game you have the right to ask him direct, as I did in the Brentford game, he is obliged to give it.

Let me know how you get on.

Had a few drinks to night, I hope it makes sense, my wife's 70 birthday party and we are glad to make it.

Where is BST? and come to think of it where is Peter  Rowan, who's non deplume I forget, two of the best in my book.

If it's the same Peter I'm thinking of, he went by Fuzzy Duck or something like that.

Just seen the extended highlights. When Coppinger stoops to head the ball he seemed to catch it on his shoulder. Was a spurious handball to say the least.

After watching the highlights I couldn't help but nice that the thru ball to cops Was massively over hit,  luckily marquis was on the ball.  Jones was nearest defender and he as good as watched it trickle by, his mental thinking and turn of pace were  non existent,  what ever he brings to a club now, sadly I think it's not on the pitch where he excels.

Just seen this on the Hartlepool forum.

"And for the record, there aren't many players who boil my piss but John Marquis is one of them. Whinging, cheating t**t. Can't stand the monkey headed w**ker."

Could our Marquis be there Kitson?

It's slightly after that Baz. The header by Copps wasn't a handball but if you watch carefully Copps has fallen to the ground and knocked it forward with his hand.

If Pool supporters think we are not good and we still beat them, then how bad are they?
