had a delivery for the above today, also had a Scottish accent, could it be the ex-Rover? Gutted when his career was cut short so young, real steamroller of a centre forward who had a great touch for such a big lad. Always thought he had returned to Scotland if it was him.

He was working for Donny Council in the 90s.  I played against him a few times in the Interdepartmental 5 a side competitions.  He was a big lad then, definitely put some timber on once he stopped playing pro.

He looks a big lad now Rob, bet it was him then. Seem to remember him terrorising the Rotherham defence one night in his all too short career.

Still lives in Donny does Ray, I went to school with his son. Pretty sure he's been here ever since his playing days.

Deans and Alan Brown would have taken us far had they both stayed fit in that mid 80s side.
