First post. It looks as though they had wanted him as their manager. Presumably that was before he signed for us?

Just because he was going to speak with Orient then doesnt mean he will want to do so now.
Their sacking record is better than Cellinos at Weeds.

He mentions it was 'five managers ago', (which, to be fair, by Orient's standards could be five days ago).

Don't forget, part of their finances and what they are paying certain players has been made public so they probably have the figures broadly correct.

He wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Fergie owes the board at DRFC a hell of a lot. At most clubs  (and I'm not talking dysfunctional ones here, eg Leeds, Leyton Orient) he'd have been collecting his P45  at the end of last season. Instead the owners have kept faith in him. He would be mad - and utterly disloyal- to go to another club now.

I read an Orient thread on similar lines where they were considering the What if scenario when he was connected with them.

Also a few comments saying we are the best team they have played so far.

They were reckoning on him being on six grand a week if he had taken the job. He won't be on peanuts with us but i wouldn't think it would be six grand maybe four at the most.
