We wouldn't take 4200 to Grimsby even they did allocate us that much. Next season Grimsby wouldn't do either. The novelty will wear off for them. The away end at Grimsby is shocking as well.

If you're over 6ft tall don't take anything below your knees. There isn't the room for them and from anything more than ten rows back you can't see the other end of the pitch. Shithole
Morning All, Grimsby fan here in peace! You could say the club have messed up allowing 4 tickets per ST, and with us having over 3000 ST holders, this was always going to happen... the club knew that this fixture was talked about from the moment we won promotion, as this replaced our Lincoln fixture as such.not sure on the 'Cup Final' that some are saying, its merely the fact we are happy to be playing the likes of yourselves, and Pompey etc, instead of travelling to Eastleigh and Welling etc.We are a club which is currently on a high, with a new manager who is ticking all the boxes, and sitting just outside the play-offs after some expecting a relegation battle.i wouldn't expect much trouble for this game, as many of the 'Hooligans' wouldn't off been able to get tickets.expect us to be loud and proud off the pitch, and hopefully we turn up on the pitch as well!

I'm Lincolnshire based and have seen first hand the trouble between Lincoln and Grimsby fans in their fixtures in recent years and this game replaces that match up for the Codheads. In fact it could be worse because of the cock up by GTFC. What are the large number of season ticket holders who've bought 4 tickets doing with the other 3? 1 for themselves but who have the other 3 gone to? Plus wasn't there some trouble between the 2 of us a few years back in a pre season or cup game?
Who cares. Leave those who want to kick each others heads in to it.
Hopefully it'll all be well away from the ground but I won't be taking my six-year-old lad to this 'un. Which is a bloody shame but I'm not risking it.
The area between town and the ground is too big for them to police. It was only recent they realised to stop letting away fans down the alley to Hyde Park. Donny youth and police have been on a chicken run on numerous occasions these past two seasons. They're f**king clueless. Never seen a big police presence round the ground. They'll pick the roughest looking group of codheads, escort them to the station and leave the rest to do what they want.
Anyone know how home tickets are selling?
Quote from: Metalmicky on December 13, 2016, 11:08:09 amAnyone know how home tickets are selling? The on-line ticket sales show that there are still 4990 unsold seats. So take away the Grimsby allocation (4000) and East stand segregation (250) and the 3 unused blocks in NW stand (1000)So that leaves about 5000 sold to DRFC fans as a rough estimate.
