There's ways and means to unnerve McCormick in the return game without fans having to run on the pitch or anything which can be severe enough to get them into trouble. It's a case of whether DRFC have a player, who has no boundaries in wanting to get a result, and is prepared to be a Marco Materazzi to either get McCormick or one of his team-mates sent off.
The man should not be allowed on a football pitch. Being a footballer comes with responsibility and setting a good example. To get drunk, drive and ultimately end up killing kids is unforgivable. If anyone on here did that, there is no way they could go back to their employer and say "oops, I made a mistake." and the employer welcome them back.I don't condone deliberately injuring players, but if someone went through his knee two-footed, I wouldn't feel sympathy for him.It amazes me people like McCormick, Lee Hughes etc. are allowed back into what is a high profile, well paying job that many of us can only dream of.

Young Pineapple Head too had a serious bit of previous while he was at the Rovers. And my all time face centre half as well. He's so fave I can't remember his name right now, but the small Scottish thug we had early in the Conference who outjumped most forwards and thumped half of them into the bargain too.BobG

Thank you German! Yes. I saw that punch. I thought it was West he attacked, but who cares? Whoever it was got flattened,,,I can't remember that other lads name either. 1980's maybe? Had a pineapple on his head. Good player. Went on to the 2nd Div somewhere I think? I also think he'd been sent down for GBH before he ever came to BV - though that's a very distant memory these days.Oh. And Swinton: so whipping your pecker out and having a piss in a public part of a train, in view of various females, would be ok then? Have I understood your position right? It's only if one of our players had actually killed somebody that you'be feel he should be banned?CheersBobG
