I think adie Mike got recalled to prison at one point and one of if not both of the esdailes were in bother!

I think you may be confusing him with Padi Wilson.

Another that appeared that season was Paul Edwards who had a spell in a young offenders' institution before joining us and subsequently went to jail. Like Jamie Lawrence he did sort himself out and went on to have quite a decent career in the lower leagues.

It was all fairly low level stuff though and not in the same league as manslaughter or causing death by dangerous driving.

It all depends on whether you want a society to rehabilitate or to vilify. He made a very bad mistake and has shown remorse so, in my view, deserves a chance.

If someone is a repeat offender then that's different.

Actually I think we should give him dog's abuse when he rocks up at the Keepmoat. Not because of his past crimes but because of the way he behaved last Saturday.

Didn't Baz Richardson once get done for pinching a rug from Carpetright? Apparently, it slipped from  inside his coat and rolled under his body.

Unfortunately society doesn't want that. People would much rather label, shame and stigmatise offenders and then question why such significant numbers re-offend.

Many of todays criminals are third generation.
Their family ethic is ingrained via a parental and grand parenetal line of criminals.
To them is is perfectly normal behaviour.

I have just read an article which says that people found guilty of causing death by dangerous or careless driving, including drink driving and accidents caused from using hand held mobiles, could face a life sentence.
