Bayer Leverkusen, I think, have missed five out of five or something similar this season, so you aren't the only team having the same frustrations.
The goal is 12 yards away, just hit the thing as hard as you can at about chest/neck hieght, the keeper nine times out of ten has already dived low, so won't get anywhere near the ball
I'm guessing we've had 12 and missed 6...ish. Normally a sign of a good team when players attack the box and keeping the ball on the deck. An area of weakness though is the lack of goals scored with shots from around the edge of the box. Our shooting rate, and quality of shooting, must be quite low. We don't seem to have Bennett/Duffy/Cotterill/Forrester type players willing to have a pop from distance.
Mandeville hasn't missed enough to concern me.I was worried until we found success with him.
