6 1/2 hours Plymouth to Leeds on that Sunday by train! That's some stint.

I'd have thought they would travel on the Saturday and stay locally.

Wouldn't that happen whenever we are on the telly with visiting fans having to travel a fair distance?

By then hopefully we will still be where we are in the table, and looking for 3 points against a promotion rival.  Nothing beats being there, and it should be a few degrees warmer than last Thursday!

The Vicar should grant you special dispensation in this case.

BUT ..... I am sure those wishing to do so (after Copps got sent off) there will be a great opportunity to "expose" their Keeper to some lets call it "banter"

Any Banners around the Ground would be easy for Sky to ignore but surely the TV would deffo pick up any Black Bank chanting on the Day ?

I am on record elsewhere on this Forum saying their Keeper has done his punishment as per our Judicial system and as such has "paid his dues to society " so I am NOT advocating a witch hunt here but others I know from that Thread see his "crime" in a different way to me (Just saying)

LOL

I have just had 2 draft "Blue Moons" and at my age I should know better to post when I have had a couple !

However I do think their Keeper has served his time (as per the other Thread which massively pre date this one) and is why I posted the last paragraph* (see below) to show I was not inciting anyone. Bally is "out" due to going to Mass before the game but others may wish to "banter"

I wouldn't particularly go at him about the driving incident. Let's face it, we wouldn't be talking about it if it wasn't for his behaviour at Plymouth the other week.

And yes, it would be poetic justice if Copps or Mandeville made him look a mug.

I think it is beyond reasonable doubt that the keeper will get plenty of stick about the driving incident.

i agree, putting a few past him would be the perfect reply, when we played them he acted like a P***k, lets make him pay.

I too am SURE there will be a reaction. You only have to read the Thread after the Keeper had (lets call it) bantered with or gloated at Liam M to gauge the depth of feeling amongst our Fans to kmow he will get a certain amount of "banter" in return

Theres 2 months to get this game marketed, a concerted effort to get bums on seats should be made for this one without a doubt

Totally agree with Filo here ... get as many offers going for this game as possible, get tickets handed out in the schools and local schemes, perfect opportunity to get new folk in the ground.

Just realised that this clashes with the England v Lithuania qualifier at Wembley. Although that might not affect too many DRFC supporters it will deter the floating football fan from attending the Keepmoat.

Could the England game be shown on tv on the concourse and in the bars after the game? Might drag in a few armchair fans or ones who will watch England in the pub?

There has to be a well publicised early offer for this. To see less than 5000 home fans on sky again for a top of the table clash would be embarrassing

I 100% agree with you on this. Even if we need to be giving tickets away. We had the excuse of Thursday night/just after Xmas/freezing cold for the Portsmouth game but a similar turnout will be terrible.

I notice Oldham did a deal recently of buy a ticket for a game and get a free ticket for the next.

Maybe we could try that with the free ticket for Plymouth? and accept any money lost on tickets will be made up with TV money?
